A Deacon finds his identity not in what he does, but in who he is. Deacons are the eyes, ears, hands, arms and feet of the pastor and ordained by the pastor. The Deacon works in harmony with the pastor to build up the Kingdom of God. A Deacon is faithful in all things.
Deacon Cleveland Hyzine and Deacon Michael Clark took their responsibly as deacon with great pride and dedication. Each of these deacons were called home to be with the Lord. Although they will never be seen at GVM again, their loving and dedicated spirits live on. We cherish the memories of the time that God allowed them to be a part of our lives. They will forever be remembered for their hard work, their words of encouragement and their dedication to their role as deacon.
To The Founding Deacon Hyzine:
You have truly been a blessing to the ministry here at God's Vision Ministries. You have helped pioneer a great work. You where sent by God. It's so nice having someone who understood and supports the vision that God has put forth through the Sheppard. Words cannot express the thanks and gratitude that I feel for you. "Jesus is a way maker", you are a living testimony. It's not the same without you, but I know you would say "Stay on the wall and don't come down". We love you and we miss you.
Thanks for all of your hard work!
Pastor Burnice Green
To Deacon Clark:
Although you were only with us for a short period of time, you truly left an impact in our hearts. The male chorus will not be the same without your distinctive voice, but we know that you're now singing in that heavenly choir. Your silent yet strong personality and contagious smile will linger in our minds. We thank God for allowing us to spend your last months with you, singing and lifting up the name of the Lord. Because of you, the GVM Family and Clark family will forever be connected in love. Thank you for all that you've done to build up the kingdom. You are gone, but never forgotten.
With heartfelt thanks! Pastor Burnice Green
